The world is enough to make you hate

O my daughter I want you to be brave

Leaning on that steep edge of cliff

You felt like you were hanging like a fish on a bait

You fell thinking it was a victory in a game

It turned out to be lamb in a herd of prey

O my daughter I want you to be brave

Loving people who hit you like a slave

On my daughter don’t be brave

Stand up and don’t let you make them crave

O my daughter don’t you be this brave

O my daughter I’m sorry to make you brave
